WCF Phoenix

WCF-Phoenix is part of the WCF Group, which is a large, private limited company owned by farmers and employees, comprising a number of small and medium sized businesses, operating in food and non-food markets, with a turnover well in excess of £100m per annum. From its formation in 1911 as an agricultural cooperative, WCF developed into the large company it is today, becoming a private limited company in 1987.

WCF-Phoenix specialises in supplying seed potatoes to the amateur garden market. Although WCF has serviced this market for over 40 years, the trading title WCF-Phoenix was adopted in 1994 when we purchased Phoenix Distributors based in Bristol . We have offices and over 60,000ft (squared) of dedicated storage at Almondbank on the outskirts of Perth, central Scotland, and are totally focussed on supplying high quality seed potatoes to most of the major outlets in the UK including independent retail customers, multiple customers, and mail-order customers. We offer the largest range of varieties available to gardeners, with over 100 different varieties of seed potatoes, both organically and conventionally produced. Our aim is to supply a top quality service for all our customers.
