With offices and over 60,000ft (squared) of dedicated storage at Almondbank on the outskirts of Perth, central Scotland, WCF-Phoenix is focused on supplying high quality seed potatoes to most of the major outlets in the UK, including independent retail customers, multiple customers, and mail-order customers. Offering the largest range of varieties available to gardeners, with over 100 different varieties of seed potatoes, both organically and conventionally produced, WCF-Phoenix's aim is to supply all customers with the highest quality service.
WCF-Phoenix is part of the WCF Ltd Group. WCF Ltd www.wcf.co.uk WCF Ltd is a large, private limited company owned by farmers and employees. It comprises of a number of small and medium sized businesses, operating in food and non-food markets, with a turnover well in excess of £100m per annum. From its formation in 1911 as an agricultural cooperative, WCF developed into the large company it is today, becoming a private limited company in 1987, divided into 3 divisions: retail, fuels and produce. Retail consists of a Central Distribution Operation based in Cumbria servicing 17 Retail Country Centres in Northern England and Southern Scotland selling a range of animal feeds and health products, pet care, gardening, clothing and equestrian products.
